TOI publishes news about the morphed video of Paramahamsa Nithyananda being validated by the CID. However, they fail to mention that the same CID illegally arrested Him and clearly have a vendetta against Him.
In April of 2010, the CID illegally arrested His Divine Holiness Paramahamsa Nithyananda without an arrest warrant or a victim in the case. After imprisoning Him illegally for 53 days, they had to release Him upon court orders as they did not have any victims, witnesses, or evidence against Him. However, the media repeatedly try to bring up the morphed video as proof of a crime He did not even commit. Of course, the video was later proven to be fabricated by both US and Indian forensic experts but that is still immaterial to the case against Him, a point the TOI and the CID conveniently forget to mention. The actress portrayed in the video has categorically denied the video’s authenticity and any kind of abuse from Paramahamsa Nithyananda, making both the video and the case completely invalid. Despite this, the CID team up with media houses to try to run a trial by media against Him as their case would not hold up in court.
These unlawful acts by the CID and the media is not just a conspiracy against Paramahamsa Nithyananda, but part of a larger plot against Hinduism as a whole. By defaming such a prominent Hindu Guru, they are promoting widespread hatred of Hindu Gurus and affecting the way people relate to them. This directly leads to religious discrimination.
