Deccan Chronicle posts an inflammatory headline, “Godman tape is authentic.” Without any verification or authentication, they have accused Paramahamsa Nithyananda in attempt to promote anti-Hindu rhetoric.

In the article, Deccan Chronicle is not able to even cite a single source but state unproven allegations as if they are fact. On numerous occasions, both parties falsely portrayed in the morphed video have consistently denied the authenticity of it. In fact, they are so confident that video is morphed that they have repeatedly requested that it be sent for evaluation by forensic experts. However, without any due diligence, Deccan Chronicle has proclaimed to the world that the morphed video is authentic. In fact, they end the story with,
“The case against Nithyananda is weak as no victims have deposed against him, before the CID.”
They are fully aware that the case against Him has no validity but intentionally disparage Him, knowing full well the enormous traction such inflammatory headlines get.
However, this is not just a case of sensationalised news for the sake of ratings. This is a systematic attempt to silence the voice of marginalised Hindu gurus who have been repeatedly attacked throughout India’s modern history. Such atrocity literature has widespread effects on the psyche of Hindus worldwide. They begin to lose trust in their religious leaders and their religion as a whole by reading such news. When such a dynamic and revered Guru as His Divine Holiness Paramahamsa Nithyananda is continuously and recklessly denigrated in the public eye, it not only hurts the religious sentiments of His devotees but it promotes anti-Hindu rhetoric among the masses.
