Sri Nithya Parabrahmananda Mhj
On the 16th June 2017, one of the Brahmachari of Nithyananda Dhyanapeetam, Sri Nithya Parabrahmananda Maharaj, was brutally beaten and physically assaulted. The place where this happened, is Pavalakundru (Tiruvannamalai, Tamil Nadu). Vested interests with the support of media, alleged that Nithyananda Dhyanapeetam was planning to encroach that area. The reality is, Pavalakundru being a part of Arunachala Hill, and Arunachala Hill being a deity as per Hindu tradition and as per laws also (dating back to the pre-independence era) enjoys the protection that nobody can encroach it. The only ‘crime’ media and other vested interests saw – sannyasis of Nithyananda Dhyanapeetam were doing puja (worship). Since Arunachala is a deity it is natural that puja will happen and especially to the rock where Paramahamsa Nithyananda had his first jivanmukti (enlightenment) experience.
