Lenin Karuppan:

• Had close “business” ties with some yellow journalism media contacts, specifically SunTV group Kalanidhi Maran and Indian Tabloid Nakkeeran.
• Just to clarify… “Business ties” = illegal activities, extortion etc (see subsequent court cases, charges, and arrest warrants against all those parties… there are too many to list out here)
• Came to the Nithyananda ashram in India in 2006 under the guise of a spiritual seeker, but really just hiding from the police.
• The infamous Nakkeeran tabloid mentioned they had old ties with Karuppan, as published in one of their journals, shedding light on the fact that their friendship goes way back:

“When we last met him, Sri NithyaDharmananda (name given by Nithyananda in the Ashram) was wearing Saffron, Rudraksha and Kumkum, just like Nithyananda. Now he is in Jeans pant, Shirts, with a laptop …”

• Claims to be an innocent guy who joined the ashram, and planted a camera in Nithyananda’s room to supposedly expose his illegal activities.

• Cash. With the backing of his tabloid media contacts, he thought he stood a good chance of extorting a large amount of cash from Nithyananda.

• Multiple arrest warrants
• Denied bail
• Arrested

• He has been trying to blackmail and extort Swamiji for millions of dollars and two of his prime properties.
• He even filed a RAPE charge against Nithyananda as a disinterested 3^rd party without even naming a victim. That’s not even legal. Good thing for Lenin the police didn’t bother to check this fact before arresting Nithyananda.
•  All the witnesses he was counting on to substantiate that bogus rape charge (Vinay Bharadwaj and Aarthi Rao) have been thoroughly discredited and laughed out of US courts. (see US court decisions against Aarthi Rao and Vinay Bharadwaj)
• Meanwhile while Vinay refused to testify to substantiate any of his bogus claims, he DID try his best to prevent any actual witnesses appearing in court to discredit him. The court dismissed his attempts as frivolous.
• His videos have been thoroughly discredited by the most prominent forensic expert witnesses whose industry reputation is beyond reproach.
• Even his former partners at SunTV admitted the video was morphed and part of an extortion scheme. (click here to see the news channel coverage of SunTV executives confessing to blackmail scheme against Nithyananda)
• He already has multiple warrants out for his arrest in connection with extortion and blackmail and got denied bail and arrested because it’s so obvious to the Indian courts that he’s a criminal.
• But Lenin, he just didn’t quit, did he?  He didn’t let himself lose motivation by little things like all his evidences and false witnesses being discredited after thorough legal proceedings in the USA, right?
• But then again, when he is so far into a mess and have nothing to lose…. Doesn’t look like he could quit even if he wanted to.

• How does anyone still take this guy seriously especially after he fainted in the courtroom when his name was called? Why so nervous? I guess the possibility of the truth coming out was too close for comfort?
