Since 2004, the then-president of India, Abdul Kalam, supported His Divine Holiness Paramahamsa Nithyananda in His mission to actively enrich humanity. In 2007, Abdul Kalam made a public statement recognising the tremendous growth that Paramahamsa Nithyanada made with His movement by spreading to 33 countries in the span of 3 years. His rapid expansion and undying inspiration would of course catch the attention of anti-Hindu forces who would be threatened by His success.
Message from Dr.APJ Abdul Kalam (President of India), “I am happy to note that the 5th Anniversary of ‘Nithyananda Dhyanapeetam’ of His Holiness Swami Paramahamsa Nityananda is being celebrated on 30 December 2007. Creating a peaceful environment in the society by making the citizens spiritually aware is an important societal mission, which I understand is being performed by Dhyanapeetam’ Ashram in 33 countries across the world. I am sure with the focused mission of the Peetam it will spread to many more countries in the years to come. I am also happy to know that as a part of the anniversary celebrations Gnana Dan, Aushad Dan and Anna Dan programmes are being launched. My respects to Swami Paramahamsa Nithyananda and best wishes to all the participants for success in their mission of working towards a prosperous and peaceful planet earth. My New Year greetings to all the participants.”
