The Trial-by-media against His Divine Holiness Paramahamsa Nithyananda began with the release of the morphed video in March, 2010. Yellow journalism, fabricated stories, twisted words and caricatures were used to defame, deride and destroy the public image of Paramahamsa Nithyananda. During the assaults on the Bidadi Aadheenam, residents within the aadheenam were shocked to see that these attacks were being reported before any attack even happened. Then, they shot the attacks that they themselves orchestrated. This was a blatant attempt to take the life of Paramahamsa Nithyananda.

Here is a newspaper clip that carried the above news as if the local public attacked the ashram whereas in reality a mob of paid workers came and staged the attack in conspiracy with the media and left the place immediately so that innocent public can be misled that public is against His Divine Holiness Paramahamsa Nithyananda.

Involved Swami Nithyanand, who has an ashram just outside Bangalore and an actress. Swami was actually filmed in a room in Tamil Nadu. People then attacked the ashram. But His followers say that the video is a conspiracy.

This is the ashram of Swami Nithyananda, about 40km outside of bangalore. At the ashram they say, he has a following of 2Million people around the world.

This of course is not the first time that allegedly a Swamiji is involved in a scandal, but it always comes as a shock to the followers of a man, whom they think lives a very different life indeed.

Nithyananda Ashrams in Karnataka and Tamil Nadu look like Haunted places. Angry people have ransacked his vast ashram in Bangalore and even set it on fire.

This was the first open attempt to take the life of Paramahamsa Nithyananda, and it was the first of many to come. The intrusion and violence created by these hired workers of the media caused extensive damage to life and property at Nithyananda Peetam. The media cannot be called the fourth pillar of democracy, it is simply a front-face for the mafia and anti-Hindu forces in this country.
