He initiates the Yatris or pilgrims into the spiritual experience of that energy field, along with celebrations and revelations on the rich cultural heritage.
Sacred celebrations that invoke the deep feeling-connection and space of Advaita (Oneness) with the Divine, are an integral part of the lifestyle (Charya) of Sanatana Hindu Dharma, as revealed by Sadashiva.
With its colourful pantheon of gods and goddesses, Hinduism joyfully embraces the truth that the Formless expresses in whatever form the devotee wishes to behold it! Brahmotsavams are long festivals that celebrate each of these expressions of the Divine energy. Each sacred celebration include worship, rituals, traditional alankar, chariot processions, traditional music and dance, as well as the distribution of mahaprasad (consecrated food distributed as a sign of Divine grace), all as outlined in the Agamas.
Kumbh Mela is the oldest and largest sacred celebration on our planet. It is the biggest gathering of spiritual beings and of millions with devoted faith on the planet from tens of thousands of years. At this spiritual confluence of protectors of dharma, the tenets of Sanatana Hindu Dharma are raised for the highest conscious growth of the whole humanity. Paramapujya Paramahamsa Sri Nithyananda Swamiji, as the Mahamandaleshwar (spiritual head) of Sri Panchayati Akhada Mahanirvani (Mahanirvani Peeth), has been taking the responsibility of upholding the principles of Vedic dharma, the cosmic laws, and protecting them from degradation, while raising them to greater heights.
During the 2015 & 2016 Kumbha Melas, the Nithyananda Peetham camp hosting over 3000 residential guests, and showcasing the glory of Hinduism, attracted over 300,000 Indian and international visitors each day, and served to take the greatest sacred celebration of Sanatana Hindu Dharma to the whole world. This Kumbha Mela is replicated across the world in all Nithyananda Vedic Hindu Temples.
