Here is a Question to Ask Yourself :
Regarding the False Victim, if you were repeatedly raped and sexually abused by someone, would be disturbed / withdrawn or would you be writing poetry about the person ?
Logic and justifiably, you would be disturbed, withdrawn and trying to cope. However, the false victim was writing poetry, actively involved in the mission, planning, excited about ideas, raising Swamiji’s greatness.

Dear AnandaGopi,
The poem is simply beautiful…. brings tears as i read it, because it is so true and I’m sure many of us feel exactly the same way, but you have put it so nicely! Wonderful!! Thank you for sharing it!
Thanks also for sharing your experiences at the Lil Ananda prg… it was intersting and inspiring to read it all… glad u sent a long email and wrote in depth! 🙂
Everytime I read about anyone’s experiences or expessions of gratitude, I am reminded of how fortunate and blessed we all are to have the Master’s grace in our life. Much as I would like to share my gratitude and experiences, nothing seems to come out as words/poems!! 🙁 I’ve stopped trying, since it should just happen, and it will whenever Master wills it!
Much love and gratitude to each and every member of the Nithyananda family!

A poem that I wrote to express some facets of life as it changed after He entered it…
I came with my ego thinking I know what I am
Even though I myself did not know what I was looking for
Yet, you took me beyond my small world
Wanting nothing in return but
Just giving more than I could have asked for
Working on me in ways
That many times I knew or understood not
Until I saw the beautiful results
Just blossoming so effortlessly
Oh Master! How can I return
Even an iota of that grace You have showered!
I came as a cynic not believing in true love
Convinced that each of us has to protect oneself
You showed me what true unconditional love is
How can I not remember the loving embrace of the Mother!
The dissolving embrace of Krishna!
The ultimate relaxation
because You are with me!
You inspired me to be join You in ringing in the new world,
That is happening here and now
The ideal world of true love and infinite possibilities
Oh Lord! How can I but sink in this ocean of love!
I came confused with the thought gnawing me
What really is life about?
You showed me how to enjoy the simple moments of life
You show me how to solve the seeming paradox
Of seeing life as an observer and yet
Be fully involved enjoying it
Oh Perfect One! What can I say but that
It seems as if this is too good to be true!
But, I see You and I see it is possible
And when You are with me
What limit can there be on what is possible!
It amazes me to see You so patient
And compassionate when more often than not
I come with my own selfish, foolish desires
And how You give me exactly what I need
Without my even knowing I need it
Oh Ocean of Bliss! You inspire me to
At least show a fragment of that infinite compassion
To my fellow-beings and to the world
I asked for the world
And You have given me the universe and much more!
Salutations to You, to the One
Who knows me better than I know myself
Who cares for me more than I can ever imagine
Wanting to just dissolve and become one with You
All I can say with tears of gratitude and love is
Oh Swami, Thank You!

Dear Nirmal,
I wouldn’t call this a poem… just a few words that came from my
heart and felt like sharing. 🙂

A Place I Had Never Been
I long for a passing glance from you,
I long to see your beautiful, warm and loving smile.
Oh! How it brightens my world instantly, and
takes me to a place I’d never been before!
I could spend all day in hell
as the happiest person there
if I knew it would buy me
a few moments in your arms!
How I wish to be enveloped by you…
for it takes me to a place I’d never been before!
A place that is out of this world,
a place so serene like the Himalayas,
so beautilful like a valley of bright flowers
so mesmerizing like the Niagara and yet
so calm like the deep blue ocean!
A place that’s all this and much more,
a place that fills me with bliss,
fills me with love, fills me with peace and joy,
a place I never knew existed,
a space I never experienced,
until I met you, O Nithyananda!
Is this what they call Heaven?
For it truly feels like Heaven,
when I’m in this space,
and nothing else matters anymore!

Subject: [Acharyas] Books at airports
To: “Group” <[email protected]>

Hi Everyone!
Nithyanandam! As I’m passing thro’ the Chicago International airport, I stopped by the usual book stores that many travelers stop by and pick up something to read on flights or in airports. When I looked around at the kind of books they have, there were a few distinct categories.. . (1) magazines which sell a lot of gossip or have pretty pics of men and women or are health related; (2) fiction novels, (3) a few books like the Secret!
I’m sure many of u who have travelled would have seen something similar in most airports… if the airport is bigger and/or the store is bigger maybe the selections are bigger too.
I was wondering what it would take to get our books to be on these racks?!! All those who have ideas can pitch in here… we can brainstorm and come up with a list of books we should be creating and putting out there! 😉
Here’s my 2 cents… I do plan to call the store office and get some official info, but that aside… it seemed to me that if we had really inspiring and/or interesting books/magazines/ booklets about health, wealth, being successful, tips for busy people or such topics… not so much heavy philosphy, but more of clicks and practical ideas, they are more likely to get on these shelves.
Advaith, among the 500 books that are coming out this Jayanthi, I hope we have atleast some of these. If u think about it, we don’t actually need lots of great books!! Just a couple of best-sellers will do the job! So out of 500, if we can produce even 5 best sellers (1 in each area like health, wealth, etc), it’ll be awesome!!
Imagine our books in airports around the world… how much publicity and awareness it can create about Swami!! 🙂 Let each of us put our strong intention into creating a best seller and then do our best for it!
