Petition Against Paramahamsa Nithyananda REJECTED: Courts Dismiss the Usurpers Protest Against the New Pontiff

Two vested interest groups, who were illegally occupying the Madurai Aadheenam property, filed a petition requesting for Paramahamsa Nithyananda to be removed from the succession to head of Madurai Aadheenam, the most ancient religious organization and monastery in the world. Their suit was dismissed.

M. Manisavagam and Sami Thiagarajan filed a petition against Arunagirinatha Paramsariyar Swamigal, the 292nd Pontiff and current Head of Madurai Aadheenam, and Paramahamsa Nithyananda, requesting the judge to declare Paramahamsa Nithyananda’s appointment as the 293rd Pontiff and successor to Madurai Aadheenam null and void and to restrain Him from entering Madurai Aadheenam and its properties.
