DNA is the second most-read English broadsheet in Mumbai and the most populous city in the country with 506,000 readers in Mumbai alone. IRS also ranked DNA as sixth among the top ten English dailies in India. So the pivotal role and influence played by this journal in shaping public opinion is undeniable.
In the scenario, when a fake morphed video was created and released to defame His Divine Holiness Paramahamsa Nithyananda, the devotees constantly faught for justice at the court providing ample evidence to prove Swamiji as innocent, while the media continued to character assassinate His Divine Holiness and his spiritual mission by repeatedly publishing false, manipulated content.
Paramahamsa Nithyananda has always preached that knowledge is free, never denied anyone healing or spiritual counseling and always offered these services for free. Stating that there was a devotee who was charged for healing is a complete lie formulated by the journal, or any associated party with vested interests.
His Divine Holiness Paramahamsa Nithyananda and his community have always upheld values of serving the society, values of sacrifice, all the values rooted in the Hindu tradition. Attacking him with such false statements is only an attack against the values and ideologies that he stands for, an attack against Hinduism.
