The Inhuman religious attack against His Divine Holiness Paramhamsa Nithyananda has consisted of two prongs, image and legal. At first a highly sensational sexual charge was broadcast in order to devastate his credibility and create an atmosphere in which any and all kinds of outlandish allegations would be taken at face value. Once the media and popular sentiments had been turned against him, there was one amazing allegation after another in rapid sequence. It was clear that none of this was spontaneous but was being centrally orchestrated under a systematic plan.

Spiritual truths themselves have the power to liberate, but as a channel of these teachings, the spiritual teacher becomes a potent threat to all existing power centers, whether social, religious, political or ideological, who fear being replaced or dissolved. As a part of religious persecution of Hindus, planned attack by Paid Media is done against His Divine Holiness Paramahamsa Nithyananda. It was sheer fabrication of His statements and an attempt to sensationalize it.
More often than not Paid media prosecutes and delivers a ruling without the formality of a hearing. Of course, as civilization evolves, we no longer need a sword or a cross or even a fatal injection to get such a disconcerting individual out of the way. As we saw so recently, a few accommodating TV channels and newspapers can do the job just as well.
