On the 2nd, Sri Nithya Atmaprabhananda contacted advocate Sridhar the blackmailer and extortionist who had promised to prevent the airing of the morphed images after having received a portion of the demanded money. Sridhar said to meet him in Chennai to sort out issues.
He met advocate Sridhar the blackmailer who put him on to Ayyappan, the right hand of the then COO (Chief Operating Officer) of Sun TV, Mr. Hansraj Saxena.
Atmaprabhananda met Ayyappan and broached the subject of the morphed video with him. Ayyappan started the second round of blackmailing in the conspiracy by demanding 60 crores from Atmaprabhananda. He said that not only the telecast of the morphed video will be stopped, but the slapping of false cases against Paramahamsa Nithyananda and his organisation can also be avoided. He assured that all the conspirators are under his control. And he further said that if the demanded money is not given, the consequences will be disastrous.
Atmaprabhananda requested for some time to arrange for the money but Ayyappan illegally detained him in his office refusing to let him go till an amount is given. Atmaprabhananda spent the entire night in Ayyappan’s custody.
